Aquabot C.O.B.I.A.is an automatic pool cleaner with an onboard salt chlorinator built in.
This automatic pool cleaning salt chlorinator system uses a compact electrolytic cell to produce chlorine on-site, from sodium chloride (salt) present in the pool. This process occurs as pool water passes between a series of titanium plates which make up the cell. These plates have low current passing between them causing an electro-chemical reaction leading to production of chlorine.

How does Aquabot C.O.B.I.A. automatic pool cleaner salt chlorinaor system work?
Turn on the power supply and the automatic pool cleaner will begin to clean and chlorinate the pool. Once the cleaning cycle ends (1.5 hours), the cell will continue to chlorinate the pool for a pre-determined period programmed by the user. A multi-function user interface is located on its power supply which displays salt chlorinator time and lets users know the system status. Interface alerts users when salt levels are too high or low. There are two separate LED’s on the interface indicating when the system is in automatic pool cleaner or salt chlorinator mode(s).

1) Measure the salt level of your pool, add salt if needed
2) Drop Aquabot C.O.B.I.A. automatic cleaner into your pool
3) Plug the floating cable into the power supply
4) Set chlorinator timer on the power supply based on your pool size (LED light)
5) Turn on the unit, cleaning and chlorinating begins
