Halo Pool Vac

Halo Pool Vac is a battery powered manual pool vacuum. It has an on board filter bag where dirt/debris is collected. This pool vac is suitable for cleaning any size or shape commercial and residential swimming pools, water features, water fountains and cooling tower basins.

This pool vac uses a powerful  submersible pump which pumps 12,000 gallons of water per hour. The pump is powered by a 12 volt battery which stays on the pool side with the machine operator.  The dirt and debris is collected in the on board filter bag, which is mounted just above the motor for maximum suction. The Halo manual pool vac is the ideal pool vac for pools that do not have a suction point to connect a standard pool vac to, or where the dirt and debris needs to be collected in a separate filter bag to avoid blocking up the pool filtration system. As with all pool vacuum cleaners that are independent of the filtration system, the Halo pool vac will save on pool chemicals and heating costs as there is no back washing required after the clean.  When a pool is cleaned with a conventional pool vac, the dirt and debris are taken back to the filter.  The filter then needs to have this dirt washed out by reversing the flow of water and sending it to waste, which obviously wastes both the heated water and chemicals

This pool vac clips on to the end of a standard swimming pool pole and is powered by a standard 12v ride on lawn mower battery. These are not included with the pool vacuum.
